Have you heard that saying, “Keep on keeping on?”
Sometimes life feels like that. It feels mundane, or we feel complacent or stagnant. Do you ever wonder, does the Bible even talk about this or am I alone?
Well, friends the good news is: yes! First and foremost, we are never alone! Scripture tells us over and over again that God is with us. Aside from having God with us all of the time, we also have each other. If we’re struggling with something, chances are someone else has been there done that OR are there doing it. We are never alone. Praise God for that! 🙌🏼
In his letter to the church of Thessalonica though, Paul wrote about this topic. First he commanded believers not to walk with irresponsible people (wise I might add). After that, he ended with “Brothers, do not grow weary of doing good” (2 Thessalonians 3:13).
In Galatians 6:8-9, he also wrote, “So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.”
Friends, if you’re out there wondering am I alone? The answer is no, you’re not. If you’re out there questioning does anyone else deal with a similar problem? The answer is yes - and honestly, it’s probably written about in the Bible too. And lastly, if you ever question “Is this it? regarding your life. My advice to you is to “keep on keeping on.” Do not grow tired of doing good for we will reap at the PROPER time. Not our time, friends, but in God’s unimaginable and perfect time - always.
Have a good week!
