If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.

Isn’t it funny how the dreams we start pursuing look completely different than the way we imagined them?

Never, never, nevvvver did I think I’d wind up here: wife, homeschool mama, writer, and more. Never. But I love it.

I always thought I’d have children, but I never imagined it would look like this: messy but also beautiful too.

I never thought I’d leave my nine year career, with goals and ambitions. But it was the best choice for me and my family.

I could have never imagined riding a bicycle from Virginia to Pennsylvania to raise awareness for affordable housing, but I did. And it was a-mazing with even more amazing people.

I didn’t think I’d ever get a master’s degree, but I did that too (though it’s just collecting dust 😉).

I never thought I would start an online shop with a wild friend who said yes on a whim, but we jumped in and had lots of fun while it lasted!

It’s allllll (plus a lot more dreaming, doing, and sometimes failing) led me here: follower of Jesus, wife, mama, and writer. It’s a path that’s been uncovered step-by-step. A path that has humbled me more than once. A path made of failure, tears, sweat, laughter, fun, and a whole lot of love. It’s a dream followed by just one step at a time.

My point here: don’t limit yourself. Life is a gift. Don’t put yourself in a box, but even more importantly, don’t put God in a box. We start down a path of dreams, and it will look completely different than we can imagine. He ordains our steps and lights our path (Psalm 119:105). He is our strength and song (Exodus 15:2), and with Him, we can do all things (Philippians 4:13).

If you can dream it, you can do it. Don’t let a little foliage on your path get in the way of your future.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭119:105‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭ESV‬‬
